At TACSI, Vita combines her three passions – co-design, social innovation and social entrepreneurship – to create scalable and sustainable solutions to some of society’s most challenging social issues.
Her strategic eye, empathetic approach and ability to build a strong supporting case makes her the perfect person to bring about change in tough environments. She says the best part of her job is witnessing people change their future when given the right support, and loves connecting with inspirational people who are delivering smart responses to complex issues.
A recent highlight has been helping a family break the intergenerational cycle of disadvantage, and seeing the mother’s pride in gaining not only her own University degree, but seeing her own children enrol in Uni. By having the right support at the right time, this family has been able to break the cycle of poverty and create a better future for themselves.
Outside work, you’ll find Vita spending time with her kids, family and friends, seeking out good food and coffee – and learning something new every day.
