What’s your previous experience working in social impact?
I worked at Australia’s largest youth-led NGO for a bit, but ended up starting my own business, doing brand and design for emerging NFPs, social enterprises, and impact led businesses.
Being a social entrepreneur led me to working in the startup space helping other founders – I spent the past few years working with early-stage startup accelerators and other seed-funding programs.
I’m also a Global Shaper, which means I’m part of an international network of people driving dialogue, action and change. Through this, I’ve been involved in cool local initiatives; for example, I co-founded a campaign and capability building program that was aimed at increasing youth civic engagement by getting under 26’s to run in the Victorian 2020 local council elections).
