Jessica Watson (she/her)

Senior Social Innovator

Working on Kaurna Land

As a part of our innovation consulting team, Jessica leads the design and management of projects that aim to improve our communities.

With a career that has spanned various industries and continents, Jessica brings her expertise across areas of engagement, research, strategy, design and project leadership to the TACSI team. She hopes to use her knowledge and experience to work with on-the-ground community members across urban and rural settings to bring to life place- and program-based experiences with a true social benefit.

Jessica is passionate about taking an identity-led approach to projects, and is committed to facilitating collaborative processes that put people at the centre. She believes in designing a future with more culturally inclusive and welcoming cities and places that create a sense of belonging for communities and the ecosystem.

When she’s not at work, Jessica spends her time hosting dinner parties and connecting in nature, as well as revolutionising the Australian design industry through her side project, The Feeling Designer.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and Owners of the lands in which we work and live on across Australia. We pay our respects to Elders of the past, present and emerging. We are committed to collaboration that furthers self-determination and creates a better future for all. Please note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are advised that this website may contain images, voices or names of deceased persons in photographs, film, audio recordings or printed material.
At TACSI, diversity and inclusion is more than a statement; equality and accessibility are guiding principles embedded in everything we do. We strongly believe that it’s the collective sum of all our communities differences, life experiences, and knowledge that enables both ourselves and our partners to come together to tackle complex social issues. That’s why we’re committed to having a diverse team made up of people with diverse skills from all backgrounds, including First Nations peoples, LGBTIQ+, mature-age people, and people with visible and non-visible disabilities, regardless of sex, sexuality or gender identity.
