Danielle Abbott (she/her)

As our Quality and Practice Lead, Danielle plays a core role in scaling TACSI innovations. She oversees the growth of our Family by Family program both locally and internationally, which trains families who have been through tough times to help other families going through tough times.

Additionally Danielle works with the scaling team to design, test and prototype new solutions that can be adapted and adopted by others at scale (an example of this is the Virtual Village).

A champion and advocate for the voice of the people, Danielle’s spent the last 20 years working on the ground with youth, families and in community development. Her vast experience in the not-for-profit sector means she moves quickly, makes intuitive decisions and can take the lead under pressure, all while still having a laugh.

For Danielle, the best part about working at TACSI is enabling others to learn and expand their horizons. Her ultimate goal is to become a part of a wider community movement that helps people to have a greater impact on the systems and policies that affect them.

On the weekends, you’ll find Danielle up-cycling furniture, spending time with friends and watching movies. She also loves to take long drives through the winding Adelaide Hills, where she grew up.
