TACSI is The Australian Centre for Social Innovation. We exist to develop, test and spread innovations that change lives, with a focus in the areas of child protection, families, ageing and disability. Our ambition is to set new benchmarks for how Australia supports vulnerable people and to redefine how public purpose organisations approach innovation.
Principal Social Innovators work as part of a small interdisciplinary teams we call Social Innovation Pods, of 5-8 people. Principal Social Innovators use their domain experience and their leadership experience to; lead major projects of national significance, providing leadership and capability building in in their pod, develop new relationships and new business and contribute to the strategic direction of TACSI.
There are two or three Principal Social Innovators in each Pod. Each has a specialism in one or more of the following.
Principal Social Innovators also get support to grow themselves. 20% of their time is dedicated to learning, to deepen their specialisms and broaden their social innovation expertise into new areas.
We’re currently recruiting for a Principal Social Innovator (Human-centred Design) for our Adelaide team. We’re actively looking for leaders with 10+ years experience in Human-centred Design.
Applications are open until 5pm, Friday 23 December 2016 ACST.
